Summary : Video Clip

The objective of this project was simple : produce a video clip for a song of our choice in group or alone. I chose to do it alone (meaning : without the help of a classmate of my class). The music I chose 「TRICKER」, it's composed by Arabesque Choche and performed by Juliet Heberle, the two members of the duo Chouchou. Tenth track of the album Vinculum, its dark and repetitive ambiance inspired the script of this video clip : a poker game that goes wrong and a girl repeating the same loop to escape.

ELAINE

HERO

Elaine is a hotel mogul. A mogul who love games and mostly poker. But this lastly times, she lost a lot of cash. Enough for to end up on the brink of the abyss. Thus, it’s how a certain “temporary association of criminals” had contacted her and purpose her a heist whose her hotel will serve as a plank. And what will accompany the first meeting? A game of poker. She mustn’t lose this time.

EMANUEL

GANG LEADER

Emanuel is the leader of the town’s most influential gang. Known as an often angry, his numerous comings and goings at the juvenile prison made him the man he is today: a dangerous criminal who’s feared by the police above all. The last time they’ve tried to put him behind bars, each members of his gang had sent at least one cops to the hospital and he has liquidated three. Since that time, his capture is one of the police’s top priority. But strangely, the investigation’s not progressing much.

TONY

THIEF

Tony is known for the many murders and burglaries he has committed. His technical doesn’t consist to quietly enter in the houses that he steals and avoid fight, but more to enter by the big door, kill all residents and finally, steal before leaving the places. Extremely methodical, he never leaves any traces. Extremely deranged, his murders are always like a torture without name for his victims. He has no respect for his peers and regular strange tics due to his madness.

ALBERT

HOMELESS'S LEADER

As a child, Albert was a homeless like the others. In appearance only. He gained at birth an overdeveloped intellect and a no limit antipathy. At sixteen, almost all the homeless followed and fear him. Just two more years was sufficient for the last ones to rejoin and respect him. At twenty, he and the homeless were already known to have committed several large-scale misdeeds.

MME ILENA

DRUG LORD

Mme Ilena is the widow of a drug lord. In reality, that’s her who kill him. She had already put her feet in his business and controlled a large part of it when they got married. But he wasn't giving her enough freedom. So, she manages to kill her husband, accuse his right arm et take over his empire. Her overdeveloped ego is known by her peers and all fear to offend her. After all, that’s her bad temperament who was the cause of what is called now “the Coup d’Etat”. In other words, the murder of her husband and her taking of the throne.
